The seminar titled “Author-Translator: İrem Uzunhasanoğlu’s Journey in Literature and Translation” was held.

The English Translation and Interpreting Department held a seminar where author and translator İrem Uzunhasanoğlu shared her insights on the relationship between literature and translation, as well as her work in the literary and translation world. After the event, a Q&A session was held, addressing topics such as the visibility of the translator and the importance of language proficiency and cultural knowledge in translation.
